On Thursday, 8th September we celebrated 5 years since Adrian and Rory took charge of the brewery and became our new owners and it is safe to say that a lot has been accomplished in that time.
When they took charge back in 2017, they were both aware of the heritage that came with the brewery, as Pilgrim Brewery also celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
A lot has changed in 5 years; we have seen a brewhouse overhaul including the upgrade of equipment, the addition of a Taproom, a successful Crowdfunder which has enabled us to keg our beer at source. We have developed strong relationships with a number of prestigious venues including Surrey County Cricket Club and Lingfield Park Racecourse and most recently we opened our first free house, The Hatch.
None of this would have been possible without your support and the support of our fantastic local community and for that we say thank you... -

We cannot thank you all enough for the incredible support and patience you have shown whilst we have been busily working away to reach this point.
At midday on Thursday, 1st September we finally open the door and welcome in our first customers and we couldn’t be more excited.
We have worked extremely hard to upgrade the cellar and can now have up to 5 cask beers on tap and 15 keg at any one time, one of which is a speciality continental beer font.
We have sourced gins and other spirits from local companies and The Vineking are providing the wines.
Our opening times will be: -
Tuesday to Saturday - 12:00 to 23:00
Sunday - 12:00 to 22:00
We aim to provide food in the near future and will start with a range of pop-up venders.
Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you... -

A brand-new addition to our bottle range has just landed and it is perfect for the summer.
Hitting all the trends for modern beers, Quench is an extremely popular summer ale and is now available for the first time in 500ml bottles.
With a new lower alcohol by volume of 3.4% it is also Vegan and Gluten Free.
This is a limited batch with just one run for this year.
Quench is a session pale ale, brewed with Maris Otter, Vienna and Cara malts blended with New Zealand hops. This vibrant beer has a delicate bitterness followed by a fresh tropical, lime flavour and aroma – quench the flames of your thirst
Quench is now available to buy direct from the brewery or by visiting our online shop https://pilgrimbrewery.co.uk/quench-3-4-500ml-bottle-case-of-12.html... -

As we have mentioned in previous posts, as part of the deal to buy the brewery building, it was agreed that we would upgrade the brewery building to make it more attractive and functional. The current building is in various states of disrepair and for the new flats being built at the front of West Street the brewery will be an eyesore if left in its current state. There is a great opportunity to cement the future of Pilgrim Brewery HQ in Reigate by creating a building that is sustainable, efficient, will bring employment and people to the town and is part of the local community.
Planning has now been submitted and you can view it by following this link https://planning.reigate-banstead.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?keyVal=RAC2V0MVM1900&activeTab=summary...

May 17, 2022After several years of searching, it is with great excitement that we are now able to announce the first Pilgrim Brewery Free House, The Hatch at Redgate. The Hatch is a lovely pub situated at Shaw’s Corner, in between Redhill and Reigate, and we hope to bring the same ethos that has become so amazingly supported in our Taproom. We have great plans to enhance the drinks and food offering and really make it an engaging venue, providing Pilgrim and guest ales and a variety of local products to make The Hatch a centre of the Redgate community and a great local asset....

On the rather apt date of Friday, 1st April, Adrian and the DMRC cycle team left Stanford Hall in Loughborough to take on 1000 miles in 9 days and reach Monaco.
It was an incredible challenge to take on and we couldn’t be prouder to say that they did it!
Day one was emotional, as they were waved off by their friends and family and sent on their way with a guard of honour.
Day two saw them all make a pit stop in Reigate and enjoy a fabulous lunch and a talk from our brewer, John. We were all so pleased to be able to see them all and give them a good send off. Thank you to all of you who came down.
From Reigate they headed to Newhaven ready to make the crossing into France where the enormity of the task really started to hit home. The weather played its part and on day three it was so cold many of the team’s water bottles had frozen!
Adrian kept us all up to date with his daily video diaries. You can find these in either of our Facebook or...
