The Pilgrim Brewery Ale Trail 2026

The Concept

First launched in 2018, the trail was devised to support those outlets that had supported us throughout the year. It was pretty much our top ten customers.

We really liked the idea of getting people to visit pubs that they may not usually and to drive footfall to each as we crept out of the winter and into the spring. Whilst many still prefer to take their time and spread the trail across the month many now set themselves the challenge of doing it their own way!

Times Change

The hospitality industry is such that nothing stands still and more so now than ever we are all looking for ways to encourage that footfall and keep people visiting their local pub and continuing to choose a Pilgrim pint. We take nothing for granted and whilst some of the original stops on the trail have disappeared new ones have been added and that desire to drive our customers to visit a new pub remains.

2026, A Side Quest

Whilst we will always promote responsible drinking we know that the trail, for many, has become an annual “pilgrimage” and so this year you will still be asked to visit 10 venues, enjoying a Pilgrim pint in each and you will still receive a limited edition Pilgrim Ale Trail T Shirt on completion – just stop at the Taproom and present your passport complete with all ten stamps and you will get your reward. The same as every year before.

However, here comes the extra challenge.

This year there will be two extra pubs to visit and, if you add these stops to your passport, you will be entered into a draw to win your very own 9 Gallon CASK OF ALE!

Why though? Well we found ourselves with the challenge of having two outlets who have shown unbelievable loyalty, ordering from us every week and we just couldn't make it work for them any other way.

Rules, Advice and Guidelines

Should you wish to follow the original trail and after those ten stops arrive at the Taproom to claim your T Shirt we will simply mark your passport as complete and handover your T Shirt.

Then, if you would like to enter the competition and you are yet to receive the two bonus stamps we will return it to you.

Once all twelve stamps have been received you can then return to the Taproom to enter the competition.

Do the trail your way - gaining 10 stamps and then adding the bonus stops before, during or after, that is up to you.

We just need to see your passport complete with all twelve stamps for you to be able to be in with a chance of winning you very own cask of ale.
