About The Hatch

After several years of searching, it was with great excitement that Pilgrim Brewery took over the running of the Hatch in mid 2022.

The Hatch is a lovely, intimate pub situated at Shaw’s Corner, and is a perfect venue for families and friends to get together. As part of our ethos, we will not stock mainstream beers or spirits instead we will seek out great local craft and artisan producers.  We have 5 cask lines ( serving Pilgrim and guest ales) and 12 keg lines (3 serving continental beers and the remaining 9 have Pilgrim and other local or craft beers)  We stock spirits from the local producers Gin Kitchen, Batts Hill, Silent Pool, Wessex & Hurt Liqueur and the wines are supplied by the Vineking and Denbies. 

Monte Forte @ The Hatch

Pilgrim Brewery and Monte Forte have worked together since 2017, starting with Luca and Paolo providing their amazing pizzas from their street food van for our events at the taproom.  Our ethos for the Hatch is to serve local, quality produce where possible, so when we were looking for someone to partner with us and provide food, there was really only one choice.  MF have enhanced their offering for the Hatch and it now includes pasta, meatballs, salad etc.  For the full menu  << click here >>
